ADB Avenue partially closes until Feb for safety works

MANILA – Partial closures along ADB Avenue began Monday as part of road safety upgrades by the Department of Transportation, Department of Public Works and Highways and Ortigas Center Association, Inc.

In a traffic advisory, the DOTr said the road works include upgrading pedestrian crossings and constructing speed tables to enhance pedestrian safety and improve accessibility.

“Please note that temporary lane closures will be implemented during the construction period, which will proceed in phases. Target completion of the said project is on February 2025,” it said.

The advisory said motorists must plan their travels to the area ahead due to expected delays caused by the road closures.

“We kindly ask for your patience and cooperation as we work to create safer and more accessible roads for everyone,” it said. (PNA)
