Pokémon Trading Card Game collectors had another opportunity to secure sought-after products at retail prices as Walmart reportedly held a new round of purchase drawings on October 14, featuring popular releases from Prismatic Evolutions, Destined Rivals, and Pokémon’s 30th Celebration collection.
According to Pokémon stock-tracking account PokemonRestocks, five products were included in the reported event. The lineup featured the Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box, Destined Rivals two-pack blisters, and three anniversary-themed bundles: the 30th Celebration Booster Bundle two-pack, 30th Celebration ex Box two-pack, and 30th Celebration Knock Out Collection four-pack.
Collectors were reportedly allowed to request up to three Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Boxes, while entries for the remaining products were limited to one bundle each. The drawings were said to be free to enter, without requiring a paid Walmart+ membership, and participants could join multiple product drawings.
The reported entry period opened at 5:00 a.m. Philippine time on October 15 and closed an hour later. Unlike ordinary online restocks, where buyers compete to complete purchases before inventory sells out, the drawing system reportedly selected buyers after registration. Successful participants would receive email confirmations, with orders automatically processed for their selected quantities. Results were expected to arrive in batches through October 16.
PokemonRestocks also flagged a separate Walmart trading card drop scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Philippine time on October 15, although the products involved were not identified. Meanwhile, an October 13 Pokémon Center release reportedly featured German-language TCG products rather than English-language cards.
For collectors in the Philippines, the US-based activity offers a glimpse into how retailers are managing interest in Pokémon products, but it does not necessarily translate into easier local availability. International purchasing restrictions, shipping costs, and reseller markups can make overseas restocks difficult to access.
The reported three-box limit for Prismatic Evolutions also draws attention to continued collector interest in the set. However, a purchase drawing alone does not establish current scarcity or justify higher resale prices. Collectors considering secondary-market purchases should compare recent completed sales, check product authenticity, and avoid treating restock rumors as confirmed supply information.
Walmart’s official collectibles drawing page lists the October 14 Pokémon TCG drawings as closed, confirming that the featured products were included in the event. Additional details regarding entry limits and winner notifications were reported by Pokémon stock-tracking accounts.
