Taguig’s ‘Ating Dibdibin’ program snags Galing Pook Award

Taguig City’s breast cancer awareness, prevention and treatment program “Ating Dibdibin,” spearheaded by Mayor Lani Cayetano, has been recognized with a Galing Pook Award on October 24 held at the Samsung Hall, SM Aura, Taguig City, for its outstanding initiatives in addressing breast cancer awareness and treatment. 

The program aims to improve early detection and provide support to patients, significantly enhancing the quality of care in the community.  

Launched in 1993, the Galing Pook Awards recognize and celebrate exceptional practices by local government units. Finalists with remarkable initiatives are evaluated, and winners are honored in a ceremony.
