Mega Job Fair for Malabon residents

Hundreds of job seekers from Malabon flocked to the Mega Job Fair held at the Malabon Sports Center on December 3. Organized by the City Government of Malabon in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), the event aimed to “open doors to new opportunities and bring renewed hope to the people of Malabon.”

A total of 17,108 job openings were made available from 86 local and international companies. Additionally, several government agencies, including the NBI, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, SSS, Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), DSWD, and PSA, offered a one-stop-shop service to assist applicants with the necessary documents.

Mayor Jeannie Sandoval and PESO-OIC Luziel Gutierrez expressed their appreciation to the participating companies and the government agencies that “continue to support initiatives designed to help Malabon city.” Councilors Edward Nolasco and Leslie Yambao were also present to show their support on behalf of the City Council.
