Muntinlupa City study tour at Sentinel UpCycling Technologies

On December 2, the Muntinlupa Environmental Sanitation Center (ESC) visited Sentinel UpCycling Technologies in Barangay Maysilo, Malabon City, for a plant tour as part of a study tour activity.

The purpose of the visit was to learn how Sentinel supports its partners in adhering to the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Law through sustainable practices, such as Circular Economy initiatives. These practices help enhance the repurposing and reuse of materials, contributing to environmental sustainability.

One of the key highlights of the tour was a discussion on the Green Public Procurement Program. Sentinel’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Jonathan Co, explained how the program promotes the procurement of eco-friendly products in public sectors. The tour also focused on the ongoing plastic diversion efforts being expanded in Malabon, Caloocan, Valenzuela, and other local government units (LGUs) that are in need of effective plastic waste management solutions.
