Mayor Sandoval leads “Balik Sigla, Bigay Saya” activity in Malabon City

The Malabon City Government participated in the third anniversary of the Nationwide Gift-Giving Day, which carried the theme “Balik Sigla, Bigay Saya,” alongside other local government units across the country on December 8 at the Malabon Sports Complex.


President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. spearheaded the symbolic gift-giving to children at MalacaƱang, an event that was followed by local government celebrations nationwide. In Malabon, Mayor Jeannie Sandoval led the activity, where 1,500 students from 33 Child Development Centers and 4 elementary schools received trolley bags as gifts, which the pupils can use.

In his Christmas message, President Marcos expressed his gratitude to ā€œall who contributed to the success of the nationwide celebration.ā€ He also extended his holiday wishes to all Filipinos, ā€œhoping that the spirit of unity and compassion during the Christmas season would continue.ā€

Mayor Sandoval thanked the President for this initiative, which according to her, ā€œnot only brought joy and inspiration to the people of Malabon but also encouraged local governments to continue their support for their communities.ā€

Pupils from the child development centers also had the opportunity to showcase their talents through dances. The event was attended by Mr. Ricky Sandoval, along with Councilors Edward Nolasco, Maricar Torres, Leslie Yambao, Gerry Bernardo, Paulo Oreta, Jasper Cruz, Len Yanga, Monay MaƱalac, NiƱo Galauran, and Peng MaƱalac.
