DDB declares 4 Calabarzon Police offices, battalion drug-free

The Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) recognized the provincial police offices of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, and Rizal, along with the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 4A, as Drug-Free Workplaces in a ceremony held on November 6, 2024.

DDB Undersecretary Earl Saavedra praised the Calabarzon police for setting a national example in drug prevention. The recognition follows the successful implementation of the Philippine National Police’s internal cleansing program, which includes mandatory drug testing, all of which returned negative results.

Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas, PRO-4A regional director, emphasized the importance of vigilance in maintaining a drug-free force to ensure integrity and safety in public service.
