Taguig welcomes 2025 with New Year’s Eve celebration

Taguig City ushered in 2025 with a New Year’s Eve Countdown event at 5th Avenue, Bonifacio High Street in Bonifacio Global City (BGC). The celebration featured performances by renowned local and international artists, attracting a large audience.

The event, organized in partnership with BGC – Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation and Coke Studio, showcased OPM icons Sarah Geronimo and Rico Blanco, alongside British electro-pop duo HONNE. K-Pop girl group ITZY, comprising Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna, headlined the international acts, delivering dynamic performances that energized the crowd. 

Mayor Lani Cayetano addressed attendees, expressing gratitude for the community’s participation and extending well-wishes for the New Year. She emphasized the city’s “commitment to fostering a transformative, lively, and caring environment for all residents.”

The celebration concluded with a fireworks display.
