Panini Loads NWSL Lineup With Kaboom!, Downtown, Color Blast Chase Cards

Women’s soccer is getting a bigger spot in the trading card hobby as Panini America announced three new National Women’s Soccer League releases packed with some of the company’s most recognizable chase inserts.

The new products include 2026 NWSL Prizm Black, 2026 Donruss Optic NWSL, and 2026 NWSL Crown Royale, expanding Panini’s NWSL card lineup after its inaugural Donruss release earlier this year. For collectors, the headline is simple: major Panini inserts are now entering the NWSL market.

The new sets will feature hobby-favorite chase cards such as Kaboom!, Downtown, Color Blast, Stained Glass, and Manga. Donruss Optic will also include inserts like Night Moves, Tunnel Vision, Net Marvels, Pitch Queens, and a new case-hit insert called Kismet.

Each product brings a different chase. Prizm Black will lean into premium inserts like Color Blast, Stained Glass, and Manga, with hobby boxes averaging two autographs. Donruss Optic will feature a 200-card base set, Rated Rookies, numbered parallels, autographs, and memorabilia cards. Crown Royale will bring the biggest hobby hook: the arrival of Kaboom! cards in the NWSL space.

The releases are expected to roll out this fall through Panini’s website, major retailers, hobby shops, Target, and Walmart. Current retailer listings point to Donruss Optic NWSL on October 14, Crown Royale on October 28, and Prizm Black on November 20, though release dates may still change.

Featured players include NWSL stars such as Trinity Rodman, Marta, Sophia Wilson, Temwa Chawinga, Kenza Dali, and Riley Tiernan, giving collectors a mix of established icons, current standouts, and rising names to chase.

The bigger play is clear: Panini is treating women’s soccer like a serious collectibles lane. By bringing premium inserts, autographs, memorabilia cards, and numbered parallels to NWSL products, the company is giving the league more visibility inside the hobby — and giving collectors a new market to watch before it potentially heats up.
