The Palawan Dance Ensemble, representing the provincial government, received positive feedback following their performance at the Obra MIMAROPA: A Tatak Pinoy Brand Regional Trade Show held at Glorietta Mall Activity Center in Makati City.

The performance, part of the trade show running from October 24 to 27, showcased traditional dances from Palawan’s indigenous Palaw’an, Batak, and Tagbanua communities, along with cultural pieces from the Molbog, the largest Muslim population in southern Palawan.

The ensemble also presented original Cuyonon songs and dances, including “Amos Tara” and “Isla Ganda,” which highlighted elements of Palawan’s culture and landscapes.

Led by Ceasar Sammy A. Magbanua, Chief of Staff and program manager of the Governor’s Culture and Arts Program, the Palawan delegation actively participated in the event. Representatives from the Provincial Tourism Promotions and Development Office (PTPDO) and the Provincial Economic Enterprise Development Office (PEEDO) attended to support Palawan’s exhibitors.
