Malabon City Health Department honored for efforts in healthcare reform

The Malabon City Health Department, led by City Health Officer Dr. Bernadette C. Bordador, received two awards on November 12 recognizing its service in public health.

The Department of Health (DOH) Metro Manila Center for Health Development presented Malabon with an award at the “2024 Local Health System Recognition Towards Universal Health Care” event in Quezon City, acknowledging the city’s effective implementation of local health reforms. This award highlights Malabon’s alignment with Universal Health Care goals.

Additionally, the department received the “Public Service Award” from UNTV at the “20th UNTV Public Service Forum” held in Quezon City.
