Makati recognized as BFP’s best partner agency

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) awarded the City Government of Makati the Best Partner Agency Award during its 51st Fire Service Recognition Day on December 12. The event was held at Linsangan Hall in the BFP National Headquarters in Quezon City.

The award acknowledges Makati’s contributions to fire safety, disaster preparedness, and public safety through its collaboration with the BFP.

Key attendees included Makati Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Richie Rodriguez, BFP Officer-in-Charge Chief Superintendent Jesus Fernandez, NCR Regional Director Chief Superintendent Nahum Tarroza, Assistant Regional Director for Administration Senior Superintendent Jerome Reaño, and Assistant Regional Director for Operations Senior Superintendent Douglas Guiyab.

The recognition underscores Makati’s efforts to enhance safety measures and support nationwide fire prevention initiatives.
