Families face displacement amid flooding in Muntinlupa

Families have been evacuated from flooded areas in Muntinlupa on October 24 due to heavy rainfall brought about by Severe Tropical Storm “Kristine” that caused significant flooding in the city and several parts of Luzon.

The Muntinlupa City government led by Mayor Rufino Biazon, dispatched personnel to assist families in Barangay Tunasan. In addition, the Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine National Police Search and Rescue, Maritime, and Bureau of Fire Protection provided flexi-trucks and extra staff to support the rescue operations.
