The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Pampanga announced its 2024 accomplishments during its regular “Kapehan with Media” on Monday, December 16, highlighting over ₱8 million in combined sales generated from local and international trade fairs and the One Town, One Product (OTOP) Hub.

DTI Pampanga Provincial Director Elenita R. Ordonio reported that through the “Manyali Tamu!” initiative, the agency organized and participated in 29 trade fairs involving 609 exhibitors. These events yielded total sales of ₱6,456,516. Meanwhile, the OTOP Hub at Marquee Mall, which featured 37 merchants showcasing various locally-made products, recorded sales amounting to ₱2,281,976.90.

The OTOP program plays a pivotal role in supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by providing capacity-building initiatives and promoting locally-produced goods. Additionally, DTI Pampanga participated in two international trade fairs, with 17 exhibitors joining the Philippine Food Expo (PFIF) and six exhibitors attending the International Food Expo (IFEX), further expanding exposure for local MSMEs.

DTI Pampanga also emphasized its commitment to skill enhancement and entrepreneurship development, conducting 71 training sessions attended by 2,690 participants. These efforts aim to bolster the competitiveness and capabilities of local entrepreneurs, contributing to the agency’s year-end achievements.
