The Davao City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) announced that the highly anticipated Pasko Fiesta 2024 will officially begin on November 28. This year’s celebration, themed “Enchanted Woodland: The Magic of the Forest in the Heart of the City,” promises to bring holiday cheer with vibrant decorations and festive activities.

CTOO officer in charge Jennifer Romero shared that preparations are underway, with giant reindeer, Santa’s sleigh, and other holiday displays set to adorn the city hall grounds. The 2024 Pasko Fiesta will feature 15 major events, including five competitions: Koro sa Pasko (Dec. 7), Banda Dasig (Dec. 15), Sayaw sa Pasko (Dec. 21), Pasko Panag-uban (Dec. 13), and the new Mugna sa Pasko creative costume competition (Dec. 15).

From November 29 to December 29, the city will celebrate with the “Panayegon sa City Hall,” a musical event featuring Christmas songs. Traditional fairground attractions will be available at Rizal Park from December 1 to 27, and Music in the Park will debut at Magsaysay Park on December 7.

The Pasko Fiesta will also feature community programs, including “Kasadya sa Pasko” and “Kalingawan sa Distrito,” organized in selected barangays across the city’s three congressional districts. The festive season will culminate with the Pasko Fiesta Grand Bazaar at Esplanade Park, Bago Aplaya, from December 26 to 31.
