Filipino content creators are taking their talents beyond the country’s For You Page, with Davao Conyo leading the Philippines’ representatives to the inaugural TikTok Awards Southeast Asia on November 27, 2026, in Bali, Indonesia.
Content creator Philip Hernandez, widely known as Davao Conyo, bagged the Creator of the Year award during the TikTok Awards Philippines 2026 ceremony held in Makati on November 5. Known for his online comedy content, Hernandez now joins a lineup of Filipino creators competing for regional recognition across entertainment, lifestyle, education, and other digital content categories.
Among the country’s other awardees, Aeriel Jan Tolentino secured TikTok Shop Creator of the Year, while Ryssi Avila claimed TikTok LIVE Creator of the Year. Jomar Yee earned Popular Video of the Year for his viral running-related content, while Jericho Mark Asis received Rising Creator of the Year. Belle Rodolfo, Louise Anne Nagal, Juri Imao, Pau Pelaez, Spencer Serafica, and Margaux Nonato also earned national honors in their respective categories.
Beyond viral videos and online popularity, the ceremony also recognized creators making contributions to digital communities. Jo-Ann Malangsa and Louiejay Baloc received special recognition for supporting aspiring TikTok Shop creators, while personalities including Kim Atienza, Jacque Manabat, and Mona Magno-Veluz were honored for their participation in TikTok’s Think Twice digital literacy campaign.
With the national winners officially selected, the spotlight now shifts to Southeast Asia. The Filipino representatives will compete against creators from neighboring countries for regional honors, putting Philippine creativity, entertainment, and digital influence on a bigger stage when the awards ceremony takes place in Bali later this month.
