Central Luzon, SPD cops nab nearly 900 wanted persons in October-November

MANILA – The Police Regional Office-Central Luzon (PRO-3) arrested 802 persons wanted for various charges in October.

PRO-3 Director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan said among those apprehended were 142 most wanted persons for heinous crimes, including murder, rape, robbery, and drug-related offenses.

In a statement, Maranan commended the operating units and the continued cooperation of the community in suppressing illegal activities in the region.

If there is a strong police presence in public places, the communities can be sure that they are safe. That’s why I continue to urge the public to support the police in our anti-crime programs and activities),” Maranan said.

In a separate statement, Southern Police District (SPD) Director Brig. Gen. Bernard Yang said 91 wanted persons were arrested from November 2 to 8.

“By apprehending these individuals, we are taking significant steps toward ensuring a safer community for al,” Yang said.
