133 new voters registered in 2-day COMELEC satellite registration

MANGALDAN—The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) in Mangaldan, Pangasinan registered 133 new voters during a two-day satellite voter registration held at Mangaldan National High School (MNHS) on January 13 and 14, 2025.
COMELEC said most of the new registrants were youth aged 15 to 17 preparing to participate in the upcoming Sangguniang Kabataan elections.
The satellite registration was conducted to bring voter registration services closer to students and unregistered residents, particularly the youth, to boost voter participation.
Aside from new registrations, COMELEC also processed changes of name, correction of entries, and transfer of registration within and outside the municipality.
Further registration activities were scheduled at the Anolid Barangay Hall on January 15 and the Metro Dagupan Colleges Function Hall in Barangay Salay on January 16. Ahikam Pasion
