MANILA – Several parts of the country will get dampened with rains Wednesday due to the northeast monsoon (amihan) and the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the weather bureau said.
In its latest weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Caraga, Davao Region, Soccsksargen, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi.
Cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are forecast for the rest of Mindanao.
Ilocos Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. (PNA)
