Valenzuela City holds Lung Health lecture for students

On January 8, 2025, the Valenzuela City Government, through its City Health Office, conducted a Lung Interactive Lecture at Our Lady of Lourdes College in Barangay Gen. T. de Leon. The session aimed to educate students about the risks associated with smoking and the use of e-cigarettes or vapes.

Topics covered included the health hazards of smoking, the dangers of second-hand smoke, exposure to harmful chemicals, and radiation risks. The initiative is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to promote public health and prevent smoking-related diseases among the youth.
