Unidentified woman found dead in SRP

An unidentified woman was found dead in the waters near the bridge connecting Cebu City and Talisay City along the South Road Properties (SRP) on Tuesday morning, November 19, 2024.

The victim was described as wearing a black polo shirt, black pants, and black socks, with an estimated height of 5’3”.

Initial investigations suggest that the woman may have been murdered and her body dumped in the water. A witness reported seeing a car stop near the bridge around 4 AM and someone disposing of a body into the water.

The Cebu City Police Office is currently investigating the incident and reviewing CCTV footage to identify potential suspects. They are also urging anyone with information about a missing person to come forward and assist in the investigation.

The victim’s body has been brought to St. Francis Funeral Homes for identification and further examination.
