Two Manila hospitals at full capacity

Two major hospitals in the City of Manila, operated by the local government, are currently unable to accept new patients due to reaching full capacity. They are advising people to seek care at other facilities if possible.

In a statement, the Manila local government emphasized the importance of exploring other public hospitals in the city and hoping for understanding regarding this concern.

According to the Manila Public Information Office, both the Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center and the Gat Andres Bonifacio Medical Center have already overcrowded emergency rooms, leaving no space for additional patients.

The Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center has a capacity of 300 beds, while the Gat Andres Bonifacio Medical Center can only accommodate between 150 and 200 patients.

The Manila LGU is encouraging everyone to consider alternative public hospitals for their medical needs until the situation improves.
