Top 4 ‘Most Wanted Person’ in Cebu City arrested

A 28-year-old man from Barangay Pasil was apprehended on November 26, 2024, after being recognized as the 4th Most Wanted Person in Cebu City. This arrest was executed based on a warrant related to his alleged involvement in a murder case. He is presently held at the Cebu City Jail in Barangay The Cure.

The operation was conducted by members of the Parian Police Station 1, under the command of PMAJ Marvin B. Fegarido. The suspect, whose name has not been released, faces murder charges related to a case filed in the Regional Trial Court (RTC) 7th Judicial Region, Branch 12, in Cebu City. An arrest warrant was issued by the court on November 21, 2024, with no option for bail.

Investigators noted that the suspect had been eluding law enforcement for a period but was ultimately captured due to the cooperative efforts of the Parian Police and local authorities. The murder accusation arises from an incident in which the suspect is alleged to have been involved in a deadly occurrence, although further specifics regarding the crime have not been made public.

The capture of this individual represents a notable success for the Cebu City Police in their ongoing mission to apprehend the city’s most wanted criminals. Law enforcement representatives have reiterated their dedication to holding accountable all individuals engaged in serious criminal acts in accordance with the law.

Authorities are still conducting an investigation into the case, and they are committed to progressing with the matter as per the legal framework.
