Taguig holds job fair for persons with disabilities

Taguig marked the 2024 International Day of Persons with Disabilities with a job fair and career expo on December 17, organized by the Persons with Disabilities Affairs Office (PDAO) in partnership with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO).

Held at the Taguig Lakeshore Hall in Barangay Lower Bicutan, the event aligned with this year’s theme, “Amplifying the Leadership of Persons with Disabilities for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future.” It drew 147 job seekers and 12 employers from various industries, offering opportunities to promote inclusive employment.

PDAO head Helario Supaz encouraged participants to develop their skills and pursue their goals. “Each one of you possesses unique abilities and talents that can contribute to our society,” Supaz said, adding that workshops and training could assist them in their job search. “We are here to support you and help you achieve your dreams and aspirations,” he said.
