Surigao Sur Provincial Coast Guard joins coastal law enforcement meeting

The Coast Guard Station Surigao del Sur, alongside its sub-stations, participated in the Provincial Coastal Law Enforcement Coordinating Council Meeting from November 27 to 28, 2024. The event was held at Alameda Farm in Hamburger Hills, Barangay Gata, San Agustin, Surigao del Sur.

Organized by the Provincial Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Office (PFARO) of Surigao del Sur, the two-day meeting gathered key stakeholders to address pressing issues in coastal law enforcement. Discussions centered on strengthening coordination and collaboration among various agencies and organizations to enhance the protection of marine environments and promote sustainable resource management.
