Social work licensure exam results released, 4,587 pass

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the results of the September 2024 Licensure Examination for Social Workers. A total of 4,587 out of 7,113 examinees passed the exam, with a passing rate of 64.49%. The results were released in three working days after the last day of the examination.

One examinee’s result was withheld due to an incomplete exam, requiring them to finish the remaining subject. The Board members who administered the exam were Hon. Lorna C. Gabad (Chairman), Hon. Rosetta G. Palma, Hon. Fe J. Sinsona, and Hon. Ely B. Acosta.

Successful examinees can register for their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration starting November 8, 2024, online at www.prc.gov.ph. Registration requirements include a downloaded and completed Oath Form, notice of admission, two passport-sized colored pictures with a white background and name tag, documentary stamps, and a brown envelope. Successful examinees must also personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony will be announced later by the PRC. Those interested in attending the face-to-face ceremony can register online at http://online.prc.gov.ph no later than noon of the day before the event. The exact date and format (face-to-face or online) of the oathtaking ceremony will be confirmed later.

Inductees are advised to register and confirm their attendance in the region where they took the exam and intend to practice. For those unable to attend the scheduled face-to-face ceremony, the option to participate in the online oathtaking or request a special oathtaking is available.
