San Luis opens PHP14.7-M health facility to improve healthcare access

On December 12, 2024, a new PHP14.7-million health facility was inaugurated in Barangay Bacong, San Luis, Aurora, aiming to provide improved healthcare services to the local community.

The facility includes a consultation room, areas for medical records and business operations, a staff room with a pantry, reverse osmosis and reprocessing rooms, three private rooms, and a 16-bed station. It is equipped with a hybrid solar panel system and full air-conditioning for efficient operation. Other features include an emergency reception area, supply storage, and a 120-gallon overhead water tank.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Lone District Representative Rommel Angara and Mayor Ariel De Jesus. Angara acknowledged the collaboration of local officials in completing the project and noted its significance in addressing the healthcare needs of the municipality.

The health center is expected to deliver primary healthcare services and improve access to quality medical care for residents of San Luis, Aurora.
