MANILA – Several parts of the country will continue to experience rains caused by the northeast monsoon, the easterlies, and the shear line, the weather bureau said Wednesday.
Rains will continue to prevail across Batanes, while scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms will occur in the Babuyan Islands.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned that moderate to heavy rains could result in flash floods or landslides.
The rest of the country will continue to experience isolated rain showers caused by the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Severe thunderstorms could also result in flash floods or landslides.
Meanwhile, strong winds and rough seas will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon.
The rest of Northern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
