MANILA – Parts of the country will continue to experience rains on Thursday due to three weather systems.
The shear line will continue to cause scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.
Cagayan and Isabela will experience moderate to heavy rainfall due to the shear line, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
Scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by the easterlies will also prevail over Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.
The northeast monsoon will bring rains over the Cordillera Administrative Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley, and isolated light rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon.
The rest of the country will experience isolated rain showers caused by the easterlies.
Meanwhile, strong to gale winds and rough to very rough coastal waters are forecast in Northern Luzon.
The rest of Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas.
PAGASA, meanwhile, said no low pressure was monitored for possible tropical cyclone formation. (PNA)
