Quezon City grants land ownership to 1, 282 Families in housing program

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte signed the Deed of Absolute Sale on November 6, granting land ownership to 1, 282 families from Barangays Commonwealth, Payatas, and Bagong Silangan. The city purchased over 54, 200 square meters from various property owners as part of an initiative to provide stable housing for residents.

Mayor Belmonte stated that the project aligns with Quezon City’s housing objectives, aimed at providing security to residents previously in informal housing situations.
