QC’s Belmonte awarded DOST’s ‘Innovative Changemaker’

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte received the Innovative Changemaker Award from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) on October 31 at the Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week in NCR. Belmonte expressed her gratitude for hosting the event in Quezon City, highlighting the city’s ongoing partnership with DOST to advance scientific and technological initiatives. The event also celebrated the 20th anniversary of DOST-NCR, recognizing achievements like Barangay Payatas’ CEST Award and the New Greenland Farmer’s Cooperative’s GRIND Award, which support urban farming.
