QCPD reports successful safety initiative through ‘Project Ligtas Eskwela’

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Acting District Director PCOL Melecio M. Buslig, Jr. announced on October 28 the success of Project Ligtas Eskwela, an initiative aimed at improving the safety and security of students and school facilities across Quezon City. Conducted from October 22 to 28, the project included 273 Police Assistance Desks (PADs) at various schools and 171 security operations, supported by a deployment of 481 police personnel.

As part of the initiative, QCPD officers conducted personal visits to 179 schools to address concerns of students and teachers, following directives from NCRPO Acting Regional Director PMGEN Sidney S. Hernia. The project aligns with QCPD’s commitment to a safe educational environment and reinforces the agency’s role in supporting the welfare of students and educators.
