The Quezon City government held a dialogue on November 7 with health and wellness business owners to discuss preventive measures against MPOX, formerly known as monkeypox.

Mayor Joy Belmonte emphasized the importance of collaboration between businesses and local authorities in responding to public health threats, urging establishment owners to partner with the government to prevent the spread of MPOX and ensure public safety.

The Quezon City Business Permit and Licensing Department (BPLD) addressed questions from business owners regarding necessary compliance documents and other regulatory requirements for health and safety measures.
