The first phase of the Site Development project for the Democrito O. Plaza (DOP) Regional Government Center has been completed. The project was carried out by the City Engineering Department under the leadership of Mayor Ronnie Vicente Lagnada.

The DOP Regional Government Center was established with the aim of housing regional offices and government agencies in one location, making it more convenient for residents to access services and reducing associated costs. Phase 1 of the development includes the construction of a paved road, complete with drainage systems and street lighting, enhancing the area’s infrastructure.

Mayor Lagnada emphasized the importance of the project in promoting efficient public service delivery, stating that the creation of the Regional Government Center would help strengthen local governance and improve accessibility for the people of Butuan.

Looking ahead, the city government plans to begin construction of additional regional offices at the site next year. The project is located in Barangay Tiniwisan, Butuan City.
