Pasig LGU distributes emergency go bags to TODAs

Pasig City began distributing Emergency Go Bags to members of Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations (TODA) with city franchises on December 20, 2024.

Approximately 12,000 members from 90 TODA groups are expected to benefit from this initiative, which is part of the local government’s disaster preparedness efforts. Earlier distributions targeted households, schools, government employees, and hospitals in Pasig City.

The Go Bags include essential emergency items designed to enhance preparedness for disasters and road accidents, a risk often faced by TODA members. The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with the Tricycle Operation and Regulatory Office (TORO) and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO). Additional distributions for other TODA members are scheduled to continue through December 26 to 27, 2024.
