Pasay’s subsidized rice program provides affordable rice to residents

Over 500 Pasay residents participated in the PrEMIum Rice Program on November 6, which provides quality rice at a reduced price. Organized by Mayor Emi Calixto Rubiano, in partnership with Eunlad Coop and Tingog Party List, the program allowed locals to buy one kilogram of rice for ₱20. Cooperative members received additional rice at a discount.

The program seeks to support residents amid economic challenges, enhancing food security for local families.
