Pasay City receives Seal of Good Local Governance award

Pasay City was recognized with the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) during an awarding ceremony held on December 9, 2024, at the Tent City, Manila Hotel, marking the 10th anniversary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s (DILG) SGLG program.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano accepted the award on behalf of the city government. The SGLG recognizes local governments that meet national standards in areas such as financial management, disaster preparedness, citizen responsiveness, health program implementation, job creation, and environmental protection.

Pasay City joined other awardees in demonstrating compliance with governance standards designed to improve transparency, accountability, and service delivery to constituents.
