Parañaque Mayor Eric L. Olivarez led the distribution of checks to the beneficiaries of the Tulong Pangkabuhayan program at the Parañaque City Hall Foyer on November 5.

A total of 65 beneficiaries received financial assistance from the local government, with 60 new recipients receiving Php10,000 each, and 5 others receiving Php15,000 each.

The loan, which can be used as additional capital for their businesses, is interest-free and can be repaid within a year.

The ceremony also included a discussion on effective business growth strategies.

The implementation of the program was made through the collaboration of the Parañaque Cooperative Development Office, led by Ms. Josephine Salomon, and the Parañaque Livelihood Resource Management Office, led by Ms. Marlette Yamsuan.
