PAGCOR inaugurates modern Dasmariñas socio-civic center

DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite – The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has unveiled its 41st completed Socio-Civic Center in Dasmariñas City, Cavite. The three-story structure, built with a PHP50 million grant from PAGCOR, was inaugurated on September 18, 2024.

The modern facility, located in Sitio Buwisan, Barangay Langkaan II, is equipped with features such as an elevator, common toilets on all floors, a multi-purpose open area, dining halls, a kitchen, a first aid room, and storage and breastfeeding rooms. It can also accommodate up to 150 modular tents for use as an evacuation facility.

PAGCOR Vice President Ramon Stephen Villaflor and Dasmariñas City Mayor Jennifer Barzaga led the inauguration ceremony. Villaflor expressed satisfaction with the quality of the building, while Barzaga thanked PAGCOR for its substantial funding.

The socio-civic center will serve as a venue for community activities and events, promoting progress and development in the area. To date, PAGCOR has 32 other structures nearing completion.
