Pagadian City LGU calls for coordination with MASTS Friendship Games 2024 organizers

The City Government of Pagadian has issued an official statement regarding the upcoming Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) Friendship Games 2024, which will be hosted in Pagadian City by JH Cerilles State College and the Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Sur.

While the city government expresses its full support for events that promote education, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among academic institutions, the statement emphasized the need for proper coordination from the event organizers. The City Government highlighted that, despite not receiving prior coordination or formal notification, ensuring necessary preparations, logistical support, and safety measures are in place is essential to guarantee the success of the event and the well-being of all participants and residents.

The City Government of Pagadian reiterated its commitment to transparency and cooperation, stressing the importance of proper communication channels and protocols in hosting events that impact the city. The city remains supportive of future events, provided that these protocols are followed.

The statement concluded with the City Government expressing its eagerness to collaborate with stakeholders to promote meaningful events that benefit Pagadian and the entire region.
