Educational impeachment
The impeachment case against Vice President Sara Duterte has just been declared as sufficient in form and in substance by the House Committee on Justice.
Like any other complaint, the camp of the Vice President will now be required to answer within a non-extendable period of 10 calendar days upon receipt of the complaint.
The House Committee on Justice may file a reply to the answer. And when the reply is made, the Vice President may issue a rejoinder.
When everything else is done, the Committee on Justice will endorse it to the Office of the Speaker, and the latter will set the hearing of the complaint in the plenary.
After the hearing at the plenary, the House may endorse the complaint to the Senate for trial as an impeachment court.
To my mind, this is a very good exercise on due process as demanded by the Supreme Court, so as to avoid any constitutional lapses.
All these exercises will be good for aspiring lawyers to watch because, in this, we can see a clear picture of how the House of Representatives may endorse the impeachment complaint against the Vice President.
The Vice President will have all the time to debunk all the nonsensical charges thrown at her and I’m very confident that she will acquit herself of all these accusations against her.
In the meantime, the Vice President will have enough leg room to show the entire nation that she is fast becoming the symbol of resistance in the altar of politics.

Nicholas Kauffman has shown the entire world his ability to handle the case of former President Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte.
Angrily, his detractors are saying that he has been paid a lot of money just to handle the case,
I am sorry to tell these detractors that Nicholas Kauffman will not really earn much money as a result of his engagement.
Albeit, I can imagine how much he will earn if he writes a book about the case of Tatay Digong and the injustice committed against him.
That alone will be a multi-million dollar blockbuster.
I am certain that the upcoming book will be a bestseller, especially to our Overseas Filipino Workers as the latter have continuously supported Tatay Digong.
I remember a case where a very famous lawyer F. Lee Bailey defended a physician. He won the case for the doctor, but the doctor could no longer return to his practice because of the perceived guilt thrown at him during the trial.
As far as former President Digong Duterte is concerned, he’s no longer expecting so much from the result of the case because, as he put it bluntly, he can die anytime soon.
A dead Rodrigo Roa Duterte will serve as a symbol of injustice that will make VP Sara Duterte get the overwhelming support of the Filipino people in 2028.

The new Dagupan city hall will hopefully and prayerfully be inaugurated in 2027, if not in early 2028, as claimed by no less than Mayor Belen Fernandez.
It is well and good as the present dispensation of the City Hall can really boast of a newly-built town center.
All the embarrassments pertaining to the ghost i in City Hall may now be exorcised.
Believe me, the City Hall is occupied by Casper and Spooky.
