I cannot understand the complaint of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee Chairman, Ping Lacson, that he considers it an affront the submission by Senators Imee Marcos and Rodante Marcoleta of their own version of the minority report of the Blue Ribbon Committee.
Since the Blue Ribbon Committee has been so politicized, it is the minority’s implied right to present their own versions of what they observed during the hearings conducted by the chairman.
An example of this is the examination of the two hooded witnesses presented by Lacson. When Senator Marcoleta was about to ask the critical question connecting the two to Martin Romualdez, Senator Lacson came to their aid and comfort as if Lacson was the actual witness.
All the negative reactions of the public relative to the conduct of the investigation by the Blue Ribbon Committee must have reached Lacson.
The people are suspecting and concluding that the Blue Ribbon Committee hearings headed by Lacson are just but a circus or zarzuela.

The EDSA People Power Revolution will be commemorated from February 21 to 25.
Chavit Singson and other opposition leaders are feverishly preparing for the commemoration.
Malacanang must be edgy because it might be a One-Time, Big-Time rally by the anti-Marcos forces.
Chavit Singson has been very vocal about his call for Marcos to step down from the presidency.
Chavit does not even care if he will be charged with a case of inciting to sedition.
Ex-Air Force General Romeo Poquiz has been indicted for the same offense, and so are others.
Slowly but surely, the administration of President Bongbong Marcos seems to be falling apart.
Will it still survive the anger of our people? This is a 64-dollar question!

The pronouncement of Congressman Ronaldo Puno about the probable impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte is looked upon and dismissed as a ploy to catch her off guard, so she won’t prepare for it.
I think she knows this—she is aware of this.
That is one side of the coin.
The other side is Puno’s assertion that the impeachment might be counter-productive. And he is correct because the more that the enemies of Sara are pushing for her impeachment, the more that Sara becomes more popular.
This kind of assertion by Puno must have prompted Mr. Trillianes and company to file another plunder case against Sara before the Ombudsman.
