Northern Mindanao leaders express optimism for 2025 development prospects

Officials from Northern Mindanao on Wednesday shared their optimism about opportunities for progress in 2025, emphasizing unity and collaboration as key factors for development.

Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Rolando Uy highlighted the importance of familial strength as a foundation for public service. “Our unity, cooperation, and dedication are reasons why we were able to accomplish so much in 2024,” Uy said in a statement.

Misamis Oriental Governor Peter Unabia reiterated the provincial government’s commitment to reducing poverty and enhancing food security. “We will face 2025 with a positive view and unity that will bring peace, progress, and happiness in every household,” he said.

Similarly, Misamis Occidental Governor Henry Oaminal Sr. expressed confidence in sustaining the province’s progress toward building a peaceful and prosperous community. “We must continue to rise, elevating our way of life, strengthening our relationships with one another, and advancing our province,” Oaminal said.
