₱297.1B agri budget seen as key to sector growth
The ₱297.1-billion agriculture budget for 2026 is expected to boost the sector and support farmers and fisherfolk.During Usapang Budget Natin, the Department of Agriculture presented programs addressing sector needs.
Of the total, ₱10 billion is allotted for the Rice-For-All program to provide affordable rice nationwide.Under the National Rice Program, funds will support agricultural inputs, seed storage facilities, irrigation, drying pavements, rice technologies, and youth scholarships worth ₱30.16 million, while the National Corn Program receives ₱6.71 million.

₱8.84M education fund in Mangaldan for school buildings
Mangaldan allocated ₱12.3 million for education this year under the Special Education Fund.About ₱8.84 million will be used for construction and rehabilitation of public school buildings, including classrooms at Mangaldan Integrated School SPED Center and a comfort room for the Mangaldan Central School science laboratory.
The Local School Board also discussed proper fund liquidation and plans to purchase a municipal coaster for student and teacher transport to academic and sports competitions. Jam Victorio
2,000 tricycle drivers in Bayambang issued TODA IDs
Around 2,000 tricycle drivers in Bayambang received TODA IDs under Task Force Disiplina.
The IDs will help enforce regulations, improve monitoring of legitimate drivers, reduce illegal operations, maintain terminal order, and enhance passenger safety. Jam Victorio

Some 245 students in Dagupan City attended a Consumer Awareness Seminar conducted by DTI Pangasinan.Topics included the Consumer Act, consumer rights and responsibilities, and practical buying awareness.

Dagupan rescue workers underwent bombing response simulation in Barangay Bonuan Gueset under the DOH Mass Casualty Management Training.
