NCRPO sends 875 cops to address TS Kristine-related emergencies

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has deployed 875 police officers across Metro Manila to respond to emergencies, particularly in anticipation of adverse weather conditions. Acting Regional Director P/Major General Sidney Hernia emphasized the need to prioritize public safety and ensure that law and order are maintained in the region during potentially challenging times.

The officers are prepared to address various emergencies, from natural disasters to public safety incidents, reinforcing the NCRPO’s commitment to a swift and coordinated response. The deployment is part of a larger effort to enhance disaster preparedness and resilience in the National Capital Region, which frequently experiences weather-related emergencies such as flooding during the typhoon season.

Authorities also called on local communities to cooperate with law enforcement personnel and follow safety guidelines to mitigate risks. The NCRPO continues to underscore the importance of community involvement in ensuring collective safety during emergencies.
