Muntinlupa LGU celebrates National Children’s Month

The City Government of Muntinlupa celebrated National Children’s Month on November 5, 2024, with a festive event held at South Park Center in Alabang. Organized by the Early Childhood Education Division (ECED), the celebration was led by Mayor Ruffy Biazon and local Child Development teachers. A total of 410 young learners from the communities of Putatan, Tunasan, and Southville 3 took part in the activities.

The children participated in a series of engaging activities, including games, a balloon twisting show, and giveaways. A special highlight of the event was a surprise visit from the popular mascot, Jollibee. The event aimed to provide fun and memorable experiences for the children, while promoting awareness of children’s rights and welfare.

This marks the first of several activities planned for National Children’s Month, with a second set of festivities scheduled for November 26, 2024. For more details, parents are encouraged to reach out to their local Child Development advisers. The celebration is part of Muntinlupa’s ongoing efforts to support and engage the younger members of its community, ensuring their development and well-being are prioritized
