The Philippine National Police (PNP), Public Order and Safety Office (POSO), and Barangay officials in Muntinlupa City launch their operations to monitor and confiscate illegal firecrackers, boga, and modified mufflers. Over a span of three days from December 23 to 26, 2024), a total of 115 boga and 500 items of firecrackers were seized.
From December 1 to 25, a total of 43 modified mufflers were also confiscated.Â
