MMFF partners with City of Dreams for Golden Gala in November

MANILA – The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) has partnered with the City of Dreams Manila to host the Golden Gala on November 11.

In a statement on Wednesday, the MMFF said City of Dreams Manila is now its official event partner after a ceremonial contract signing between the MMFF and the Manila International Film Festival (MIFF) on October 8.

The event will feature an audience of celebrities, industry leaders, and other influential persons in the country’s film industry.

“This event not only highlights a significant milestone for both organizations but also sets the tone for what is expected to be a groundbreaking year for the Philippine entertainment industry,” it said.

The event and the partnership between MMFF and MIFF, it said, would ignite a “transformative partnership” for the entertainment industry.

“As we count down to the 50th edition of MMFF, we stand on the brink of a historic moment that will not only celebrate the rich heritage of Filipino cinema but also catapult it into the international spotlight,” it said.

Those involved in the signing ceremony were Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chair Romando Artes, MMFF Executive Director Rochelle Macapili-Ona, City of Dreams Manila vice president for public relations Charisse Chuidian, MIFF Chief Operating Officer Raul Putong, CMB Film Services director Jim Baltazar, Media Puzzle Holdings Corp. CEO Cherry Ann Carrera, and Media Puzzle Holdings Corp. project director Bing Viray. (PNA)
