Miss Universe PH Negros Occidental crowns new 2024 queens

Negros Occidental celebrated the crowning of its representatives for the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 during a grand ceremony on November 22, 2024. The event, held at a prestigious venue in Bacolod City, showcased beauty, intelligence, and advocacy as key pillars of the competition, which featured outstanding candidates from across the province.

The coveted title of Miss Universe Philippines Negros Occidental was awarded to a representative from Pontevedra. She impressed the panel of judges with her elegance, wit, and dedication to advocacy, securing her place as the province’s contender in the national competition. Her victory marks a significant milestone for her hometown, underscoring its rich tradition of nurturing exceptional beauty queens.

Other notable finalists were also recognized for their exemplary performances. Talisay was named first runner-up, while Ilog took the second runner-up position. Cinco, Silay, and Bago City claimed the third and fourth runner-up titles, respectively. These finalists excelled in various competition segments, including the evening gown, swimwear, and question-and-answer portions, demonstrating grace under pressure and a strong commitment to their causes.

In addition, Louise Lian Enumerable Bobe from Bacolod City was appointed as the official representative for the Miss Universe Philippines Bacolod franchise. Known for her advocacy for environmental sustainability and community outreach, Bobe embodies the pageant’s focus on social responsibility.

This provincial pageant is a key step in the journey to the national Miss Universe Philippines competition, which celebrates the diverse beauty and talents of Filipinas. Negros Occidental has a rich history in pageantry, producing queens who have excelled nationally and internationally, enhancing the province’s reputation as a cradle of beauty and talent.

With her title, Pontevedra’s representative will now prepare for the national finals, where she will compete against representatives from across the Philippines for the prestigious Miss Universe Philippines 2024 crown.
