Misamis Oriental disburses P3.6-M in zero-interest MSMEs loans

By Sam Ramos

The Misamis Oriental provincial government provided PHP3.6 million in zero-interest loans to local entrepreneurs as part of its Provincial Microfinance Unit-Livelihood for Economic Recovery and Acceleration Program (PMU-Leap). This program supports the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the province.

This initiative aligns with national policies to support MSMEs, which play a key role in poverty alleviation and economic growth in the Philippines. By offering zero-interest loans, the provincial government aims to empower local businesses to expand and contribute to the local economy.
